Withering Rose: Levina Teerlinc

Progress on my set continues strong. This weekend, I believe I'll have completed the walls including the installation of windows for Elizabeths bedroom chamber! Hopefully I get it most it done today because I'd really like to revisit my animatic and possibly revamp it before getting into animation.


This painting was done by Levina Teerlinc in 1560 and its a perfect example of how some interiors were decorated using vibrant colors and textiles. For the Bedroom chamber for Elizabeth, I decided to do in the direction of smoky and dark. As I continue and prepare for the next miniature set, which is the corridor leading to the bedroom chamber; I'm thinking I may want to do this room with a bit more color.. Unlike Teerlincs painting,
