I’ve taken a nice break from rigging after the Aladdin Pawn Shop production. Since then, I’ve gain a bit more knowledge of how and why the rigging hierarchy is important for certain tools and controls. This time around when building the rig for Ice-cream boy, I dove in not entirely blindly. With the help from Owen Wilson at DoubleTake , I’ve managed to carefully plan out a sturdy rig that fits the characters purpose for its animation.
